EC Markets LTD is hiring a Platform / DevOps Lead in London to own infrastructure-as-code end to end. You will write Terraform, manage the AWS CDK stacks, and build robust CI/CD pipelines, delivering a production-ready environment with a clear promotion path.

You will automate, secure deployments across AWS/Snowflake, drive observability, and optimize costs while collaborating with product and data engineers to keep shipping safely and fast.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps or Platform engineer.
• Excellent understanding of networking and AWS cloud.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) applied in practice.
• Experience with DevOps tooling, automation, and secure system design.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or cloud security certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure-as-code across the estate. Terraform is the primary tool managing both AWS and Snowflake from a single, version-controlled source of truth and you'll also own the AWS CDK stacks.
• Stand up a real production environment with a clean separation between development and production and a safe promotion path.
• Build and harden CI/CD with GitHub Actions, OIDC, multi-environment promotion, and reversible deployments.
• Automate secret provisioning, rotation, and state-lock hygiene; reduce toil with pipelines.
• Manage AWS footprint: VPC, ECS Fargate, S3, IAM, Secrets Manager, EventBridge, cost-aware decisions.
