Fitch Solutions in Glasgow, UK, is seeking a Product Owner for Platform Products to drive data and platform capabilities. You will work with Product Managers, Engineering, Data, and Commercial teams to shape roadmaps, prioritise capabilities, and ensure delivery aligned with business value.
The role requires 2+ years in product ownership or related roles within Financial Services or FinTech, with experience in Agile environments and tools like Jira and Confluence, and fluency with SQL for data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or similar in Financial Services/FinTech.
- Able to translate ambiguous needs into clear requirements and backlogs.
- Experience with Agile teams and Jira/Confluence; comfortable with SQL.
- Knowledge of data products, metadata, identifiers, mastered data and data quality.
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritise product backlogs aligned to strategy and value.
- Translate needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering to shape roadmaps.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and UAT to meet outcomes.
- Utilise AI tools to prototype and demonstrate concepts.
