Job summary

Infosys in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Platform Architect to define and drive the long-term technical vision for an on-premise back-office platform. You will partner with Engineering, Enterprise Architecture and Security to deliver multi-year initiatives and ensure stability and scalability.

Responsibilities include designing architecture roadmaps, governance, and platform standardization while mentoring senior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering, solution/platform architecture, or technical leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in Progress OpenEdge architecture and development.
• Extensive experience with Java and enterprise app development, including Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, Hibernate/JPA.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term architecture, roadmap, and technology strategy for the platform.
• Provide technical leadership and governance across multiple teams and applications.
• Drive standardization, reusable components, and operational improvements.
• Lead secure, scalable, resilient, and maintainable platform solutions.
• Act as technical liaison between engineering teams, Architecture, and Information Security.
• Drive platform modernization, stability, performance, and operational maturity initiatives.
• Mentor senior engineers, technical leads, and architects.
