Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Product and Service Owner to lead the Messaging and Collaboration Platform team (email, Teams, SharePoint) and oversee the Microsoft 365 platform within the ITIL framework.

You will drive continuous improvements using Agile methods, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and ensure delivery of critical services during a 6-month fixed-term role with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large and complex requirements and exceptional organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Background in Microsoft 365 applications and technologies (eg Teams, SharePoint) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the Messaging and Collaboration Platform services (email, Teams, SharePoint) and underlying Microsoft 365 platform.
• Provide leadership and management for ISD ITIL-aligned service management within UCL.
• Identify and drive a programme of continuous improvements using Agile methodologies.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Product and Service Owner to lead the Messaging and Collaboration Platform team which manages UCL's collaboration services (eg email, Teams, SharePoint, etc) and the underlying Microsoft 365 platform. The post holder will provide leadership for the services and technology platforms in their area, ensuring they are meeting the needs of UCL, providing value for money and are managed within UCL's ITIL service management framework. The post holder will be responsible for identifying and leading a programme of continuous improvements using UCL's Agile methodology.

• This post if for a fixed period of 6 months initially with the possibility of an extension to 12 months The post holder will have experience of leading and owning the delivery of critical services. They should have experience of leading and owning the delivery of large and complex requirements, and also have exceptional organisational skills.

They should have excellent communication skills and have experience managing complex relationships with multiple stakeholders. A background in Microsoft 365 applications and technologies is essential.
