Job summary

Integrate Engineering Resources Ltd is recruiting Platers for a 3-4 month project in Birmingham. Duties include fabricating and assembling steel bridge sections from drawings, marking out, cutting, bending and shaping steel plates, and preparing edges for welders.

Role is on-site with 12-hour shifts, immediate start, and a lodge allowance per day worked. Candidates should have CSCS and experience on bridges or thick plate.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required for on-site access.
• Safety critical medical preferred.
• Experience on bridge structures or with thick plate materials.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble steel bridge sections from detailed drawings.
• Mark out, cut, bend and shape steel plates and sections.
• Prepare edges for welders and assist as required.

Discipline: Plater

Location: Birmingham

Starting: Immediately

Duration: 3-4 months

Hours: 12hrs per day, 12 on 2 off shift pattern

PAYE Pay Rates:

First 40hrs / Weekdays: £22.31 + £2.69 holiday pay = £25.00 per hour

Over 40hrs / Weekends: £29.68 + £3.57 holiday pay = £33.25 per hour

Lodge Allowance: £60 per day worked

The Role:

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for Platers for 3-4 months on a major bridge project in Birmingham. Duties will include fabricating and assembling steel bridge sections from detailed drawings, marking out, cutting, bending, and shaping steel plates and sections, and preparing edges for welders.

• Experience on bridge structures or with thick plate
