Job summary

Jark PLC is seeking time-served Plater/Welders in the Rotherham area for long-term roles. 40 hours per week across 4 days with overtime at time and a half. Must be able to read detailed drawings and work to high standards on structural and architectural metalwork.

Experience in fabrication, welding, grinding, and machine operation is essential. Counterbalance forklift knowledge is a plus, and a valid driving licence with own transport is preferred due to site location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post Apprenticeship experience.
• Counterbalance Forklift licence beneficial but not essential.
• Current driver's licence and access to own transport due to site location.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and manufacture structural steelwork.
• Fabricate and manufacture architectural metalwork.
• Perform quality checks on finished work.
• Grinding, welding and fabrication tasks.
• Read and work from detailed drawings.
• Maintain accurate workmanship to a high standard.
