Job description

Position: Plater / Welder

Location: Dunbar, Scotland

Hours: 12hr shifts, Mon-Sun

Start Date: 26th Jan

Duration: 5 weeks

PAYE Pay Rates: Mon-Sun: £20.50/hr, including Holiday Pay

Lodge Allowance: £75.00/day worked

Gross Pay: £#removed#/week

Role

Our client has a requirement for Plater / Welders for a shutdown on a cement plant shutdown in Dunbar, Scotland from Mon 26th Jan for a 5 week shutdown. Duties will include:

• Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
• Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
• Repairing heat distorted steel plate
• Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
• MMA welding on mild steel plate

Requirements

• CCNSG card
• NVQ / City & Guilds qualification
• Confined Space Entry certificate
• Experience of working on industrial sites e.g. power stations, refineries, steelworks
