Job Description

Position: Plater / Fabricator

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £36,000 per annum

Company Overview

Our client is at the forefront of their industry, with machinery ranges used across the world.

Role Overview

They are currently seeking an experienced Plater / Fabricator, ideally with a recognized engineering apprenticeship, to work on their extensive range of equipment.

Main Duties:

• Manufacture large and small fabrications to a high standard
• Proficient in MIG/TIG/MMA welding
• Forming and welding mild and stainless steel components
• Polishing components
• Using CNC Press Brake and other fabrication machinery

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognized engineering apprenticeship
• Experience in plate/thicker metal fabrication
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
• Attention to quality
• Ability to work well within a team and offer improvement ideas

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.45pm, and Friday 8.30am to 3.00pm.
