Lodestone Recruitment Ltd is supporting a client in Oldham to recruit a plater on a full‑time, permanent basis. The role is based in heavy engineering environments, with opportunities to work on nuclear, defence or Oil & Gas projects as part of rapid growth.

Salary is £39,000 with a 7:30am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday schedule and regular overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus stats and a strong pension offering.

Salary: £39,000 | Full-time, Permanent, Days

Lodestone recruitment are currently working in partnership with our client in Oldham who have a requirement for a plater. The company has experienced rapid growth, and have recently won several projects to aid further growth for the organisation.

Candidates should have the following experience to be considered for the role:

• Apprentice trained or time served plater.
• Worked within sectors such as nuclear, defence, Oil and Gas, or similar sectors.
• Worked within heavy engineering.

The offer for the role:

• Salary: £39K for the right candidate
• Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday (37.5hrs/week)
• Regular overtime available paid at T1/2.
• Holiday: 25 days plus stats.
• Pension: Excellent pension (10% contribution from company, 5% contribution from yourself)
