GENERAL SUMMARY

Support the manufacturing of engineered-to-order pumps for OEM and aftermarket projects. Work efficiently to produce quality products within set timeframes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance flow and reduce costs.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Identify piece parts from drawings and manufacture accordingly.
• Assist in preparing steel or other metal plates for product fabrication.
• Work with various metal thicknesses from 5mm to over 100mm.
• Operate heavy-duty guillotines, flame cutters, rollers, and presses for shaping and cutting metal.
• Weld or bolt plates to assemble finished products.
• Use hand and machine tools to shape and cut metal sheets.
• Interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Measure, mark, and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Operate plate cutting, edge preparation, roll bending, and CNC machines.
• Assist in pipework fabrication and support welding activities as needed.
• Maintain material traceability and proper documentation.
• Contribute to a clean and safe work environment, adhering to HS&E policies.
• Participate in stock management and material handling.
• Support other departmental tasks as required; training will be provided.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Time served with up to 3 years relevant heavy manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques.
• Team-oriented with high energy and commitment to change.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
