Job summary

Gi Group UK is seeking reliable Production Operatives for a busy plastics manufacturer in Wythenshawe. The role is shift-based with a rotating day/night pattern, requiring availability for both shifts. You will operate production lines, carry out quality checks and contribute to efficient production and handovers.

Candidates should have experience in production/manufacturing (plastics desirable) and be able to lift and stand for long periods. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing preferred (plastics desirable).
• Able to work day/night rota and lift/stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate/monitor production lines, perform basic set-ups and changeovers.
• Carry out quality checks, record production data and pack finished goods.
• Maintain housekeeping, follow H&S/PPE rules and complete shift handovers.
• Report faults, non-conformances and safety incidents.
