Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Recycling Prepper Operative for a busy facility in Wednesbury. This hands-on role offers long-term stability with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will handle separating plastic components, using hand and power tools safely, and help maintain a clean, safe working area while following health and safety procedures. Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm, £12.71 per hour.

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

• Separating plastic components from metal materials ready for recycling.


• Using hand tools and power tools such as saws and drills safely and effectively.


• Preparing materials for the recycling process.

• Following all health and safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience using hand‑held and power tools (including saws and drills).


• Good practical skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.


• A reliable and hardworking attitude.


• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, recycling, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
