Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd. is recruiting a Plastic Mains Layer based in South Yorkshire with UK-wide travel. You will install external plastic gas and water services on construction sites, following design drawings and using Butt Fusion and Electro Fusion methods.

The role requires experience in utilities or construction, CSCS or CPCS card, and strong attention to safety, risk assessments and method statements. A driving licence and flexible travel are essential.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have experience within a utilities or construction industry with a proven track record.
• CSCS or CPCS card is required and fusion experience preferred.
• Ability to work from construction drawings and adhere to health and safety guidelines.

Plastic Mains Layer

Based in South Yorkshire | UK-wide Travel Required
Salary: £16.00 - £24.00 per hour

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who specialises in the installation of underground gas and water services on construction site throughout the UK.

Duties

• Working as part of a team you will carry out the installation of external plastic gas and water services around the UK. The pipe work is installed using Butt Fusion and Electro Fusion methods. You will be required to carry out work from design drawings whilst adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience within a utilities or construction industry with a proven track record

• CSCS or CPCS Card
• Butt Fusion / Electro Fusion experience
• Good organizational skills with an enthusiastic, proactive and flexible approach
• Hard working
• Working from construction drawings with a keen attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of risk assessments and method statements
• Driving license

Working hours

• Due to our work being on varies construction sites around the UK you will be required to work hours that suit the requirements of the project. You will be paid a minimum of 40 hours per week but this can increase, occasional weekend work and lodging away from home will be required.
