Job summary

Prime Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Plasterer for a permanent, full-time role in Derry/Londonderry. You will deliver plastering repairs across occupied and vacant properties, including social housing, ensuring high workmanship standards in a busy maintenance team.

The role requires skim coating, patch plastering and surface preparation, with a focus on safety and professional service. Driving licence and CSR card are typically required for site access and travel within Northern

Qualifications

• Previous plasterer experience in construction, property maintenance or similar environment.
• Proven experience in skimming, patch plastering, surface preparation and finishing.
• Able to deliver consistently high standards of workmanship.
• Experience carrying out plastering repairs and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs and general maintenance across residential properties.
• Work within occupied and vacant social housing properties.
• Undertake skimming, patch plastering and finishing works.
• Prepare walls, ceilings and other surfaces for plaster application.
• Repair damaged plasterwork and restore surfaces to a high standard.
• Carry out internal and external plastering works where required.
• Complete reactive maintenance repairs efficiently and professionally.
• Work alongside other tradespeople to ensure maintenance deadlines are met.
• Deliver a courteous and professional service to tenants and clients.
• Follow instructions from site supervisors to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
• Complete electronic job sheets, maintenance reports and associated documentation accurately.
• Use appropriate tools, equipment and protective clothing.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
