The Vacancy

Here at Wates we have an opportunity for a Plasterer / Multi Trader to join our Living Space Responsive Team. Working within this existing team, you will undertake all tasks to achieve first-time fix and deliver a high standard of workmanship in a timely and productive manner, always providing excellent customer service to the client.

Wates Living Space is one of the UK’s leading providers of planned and responsive maintenance services in the social housing sector, maintaining over 500,000 homes nationwide annually. Our strong position in the maintenance sector supports our strategic growth ambitions.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Understanding and adhering to industry-accepted Health and Safety standards
• Undertaking patch and larger plastering works, decorating, and related minor maintenance tasks using your multi-trade skills
• Collaborating with colleagues or contractors to complete complex jobs
• Using PDA devices to receive instructions and electronically feedback details of works undertaken or planned
• Liaising with Supervisors/schedulers when works cannot be completed on the first visit, providing detailed information for scheduling
• Providing excellent customer service to residents, clients, and colleagues

We seek a professional Plasterer with multi-trade experience from a similar industry, educated to at least NVQ Level 2, and holding a clean driving license.
