At Lancer Scott we are pleased to support Bristol City Council with the maintenance of domestic /residential properties across the city. We are currently looking for experienced Multi Skilled Technicians with a core trade specifically in plastering to join our already skilled & established team.

As the successful candidate you will provide a high-quality fault fixing and maintenance service at multiple sites throughout the Bristol City Council contract.

  • Have a core trade in Plastering achieved by either a formal qualification or qualified by experience.
  • Have good general multi-skilled abilities.
  • Have exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage customers and communicate with them effectively and confidently.
  • Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Desirable: Have experience working in customers properties.

As part of the team, you will receive:

  • Annual Salary of £30,000 £36,000 DOE
  • Monday to Friday, 40hrs per week.

Essential for role:

  • You’ll have a trade qualification, NVQ or equivalent, or proven time served experience.
  • You’ll be able to identify solutions to repairs proactively and specify materials required for your trade.
  • You’ll need to be comfortable using IT, as your work will be shared via a PDA.
  • You’ll be working with a variety of people and customers with different needs, so you will be a clear communicator and confident in managing expectations.
  • We will supply a company vehicle to get you around, so you’ll need a full, UK driving licence, and because you will we working in people’s homes be able to commit to undertaking a DBS check.
