Beyond Housing is seeking a highly motivated plasterer to join our complex repairs team in Redcar. The role covers plastering in disrepair claims in customers' homes and carries out damp-proofing works, including tanking, with a strong knowledge of damp, mould and general property repairs.

You will work across the Redcar & Cleveland area, in occupied and vacant properties, delivering high standard work and a professional service.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated plasterer to join our complex repairs team in Redcar. The role will involve carrying out all plastering works for disrepair claims in our customers homes.

The successful candidate will also undertake damp‑proofing works, including tanking methods, and will have a strong all‑round knowledge of damp, mould, and general property repairs.

We need a reliable and driven individual who can work effectively both with their own initiative and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the right skills and attitude and will preferably be multi‑skilled or competent in carrying out a range of trade works.

Working across the Redcar & Cleveland area, you will carry out repairs in properties that are both occupied and vacant, delivering a high standard of work and a professional service to our customers.

As part of this role you may:

• Be eligible for allowances including an enhanced tool allowance/multiskilling allowance payments, (this will be discussed if you are invited to interview)
• Be required to mentor an individual who is an apprentice, volunteer or on a work experience placement.
