We are looking for an Asset Planning Coordinator to join our Asset Planning Team and play a key role in helping us keep our homes safe, compliant and fit for the future. In the immediate term, the main focus of this role will be customer liaison and engagement, developing and implementing innovative ways to improve access to customers’ homes so that essential surveys and inspections can be completed. This includes supporting programmes such as asbestos surveys, stock condition surveys and other property visits that are vital to maintaining regulatory compliance, such as the Decent Homes Standard and ensuring our customers live in safe, decent and well-maintained homes. As these projects become embedded and established, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to lead on a wider range of asset management activities, including neighbourhood improvement initiatives, feasibility studies, option appraisals and investment projects that help shape the future of our homes and communities.
We are looking for a proactive, organised and customer-focused individual who enjoys building relationships and finding practical solutions to challenges. You\'ll be a confident communicator, capable of engaging with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. The ideal candidate will be able to analyse information, identify opportunities for service improvement and take ownership of projects from start to finish. Experience of social housing, compliance, asset management or project coordination would be advantageous, but most importantly you will bring a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills and a genuine commitment to improving services for customers.
The Asset Planning Team is responsible for ensuring Beyond Housing makes informed investment decisions that support safe, sustainable and thriving homes and communities. This is an exciting time to join the team as we strengthen our approach to customer engagement and compliance, helping to ensure that our homes continue to meet the needs of both current and future customers. We take a holistic and customer-focused approach to asset management, recognising that our decisions are about much more than bricks and mortar. Alongside property data, we use tenant satisfaction and customer feedback to help shape our services and investment priorities, ensuring we deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers, their homes and the communities they live in.
