Role Overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced Plasterer for ongoing work based in Newtownabbey. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established construction and maintenance team working across residential properties and public sector buildings.

The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of internal and external plastering tasks including repairs, patchwork, and full wall/ceiling skims. You must be confident working independently, take pride in a clean and professional finish, and be comfortable working in occupied properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Skimming walls and ceilings to a high standard

• External rendering (where required)

• Patch repairs, making good around electrical/plumbing installations

• Preparing surfaces, boarding, bonding, and finishing

• Ensuring a tidy work area and protecting property during works

• Liaising respectfully with tenants or site supervisors

• Following all site health & safety protocols

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a plasterer

• Proven ability to carry out high-quality internal plasterwork

• Experience working in both new builds and occupied properties

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Own tools and PPE

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Desirable Criteria

• Valid CSR/CSCS card

• Previous experience in maintenance or housing contracts

• Full driving licence and access to transport

• Experience with external render systems (advantageous)
