Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Plasterer for a temp-to-perm role covering Newark-on-Trent and surrounding areas. You will work on plastering repairs in social housing properties, across occupied and empty homes, with a company van and fuel card provided.

The role is Monday–Friday, offering £20 per hour during the temporary period and a path to permanent employment on transfer. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a plasterer, preferably in social housing or domestic properties.
• Strong skimming and patching skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out plastering repairs across social housing properties.
• Preparing walls and ceilings for plastering.
• Applying skim coats and solid plastering.
• Patching holes and damaged surfaces.
• Carrying out rendering and making good.
