This role
We are recruiting an experienced multi-skilled Plasterer, ideally with experience in social housing or local authority environments. You will undertake plastering and other trade repairs and maintenance work, providing high-quality, ‘right first time’, cost-effective building services to the business and its customers.
To be considered, you must have the ability to undertake associated trade tasks within competency, NVQ2 qualification or equivalent, and relevant trade experience. Skills in plaster boarding, skimming/bonding, external rendering, and basic carpentry are essential. Additional qualifications such as Abrasive Wheel training, PASMA, and the ability to read construction drawings are preferred.
You will conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, safe systems of work, and recognized industrial standards, minimizing property damage.

A full manual UK driving licence is required, and a company van will be provided for working hours.
We will conduct a standard background check with the Disclosure and Barring Service, paid for by MTVH, and your details will be added to the DBS updating service, renewed every 3 years.
