Salary: Up to £30,523.00, with a company van & fuel card.
This role involves providing a 24-hour Housing repair service. There are opportunities for additional hours, which can increase earnings by approximately £5,000 per year through weekend work or call-outs, if suitably skilled in other construction areas. Participation is optional.
We are seeking an experienced plasterer to join our team in Eastbourne. The role involves working with Lewes and Eastbourne Councils on various residential projects, including occupied, void properties, and communal areas. Our team is committed to high standards and excellent customer service.
The work includes all aspects of plaster repairs, from minor patches to full room replastering, including removal, patching, boarding, over-boarding, thermal boarding, and plastering. External works such as sand and cement renders are also part of the role.
Customer experience is central to all activities. You will need to communicate professionally with service users, clients, and stakeholders, maintaining a high standard of appearance, vehicle condition, and health & safety compliance. You may also be asked to obtain customer feedback upon job completion.
You will process activities electronically using a handheld device (PDA), including worksheets, timesheets, photographic evidence, stock management, booking leave, vehicle inspections, safeguarding, risk assessments, and method statements.
