Plasterer

The role of a plasterer involves multiple tasks, with the primary goal of ensuring a smooth finish on a building’s walls (interior and exterior) and ceilings. The responsibilities include:

1. Preparing and mixing raw materials to produce plaster.
2. Applying plaster to various surfaces such as interior walls, ceilings, and exterior walls.
3. Carrying out solid plastering and wet finishes.
4. Fitting internal plasterboards, also known as dry lining or wallboard, which may involve partitioning.
5. Installing external coverings like pebble-dash or sand for protection.
6. Using moulds and casts for creating ornaments and decorative plasterwork.
7. Managing material quantities required for projects.
8. Performing repairs and renovations.

The work can take place at clients' homes, businesses, or construction sites, often as part of a larger building team on commercial projects.
