Annual salary: up to £32,130.00

42.5 hours a week

Full Time, Permanent Up to £32,130, company van & fuel card.

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced plastererto join team in folkestone. Working with Folkestone Council on a variety of residential works, working in occupied, void properties and communal areas, our team produce work to the highest standards and deliver outstanding customer service.

All aspects of plaster repairs, it could be minor patch repairs or entire room replastering, this will include removal, patching, boarding, over- boarding, thermal boarding and plastering

This will also include external works, sand and cement renders.

Ensure that the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with service users, clients, and both internal/external stakeholders This includes but is not limited to appearance, company ID, condition of vehicles and maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety requirements. It may be necessary where requested to obtain customer feedback on completion of works.

Process all activities in association with tasks/works electronically utilising a hand held device (PDA). This includes, but not limited to, worksheets, timesheets, photographic evidence of works before / during / after, van stock replenishment, booking of annual leave, vehicle inspections, safeguarding issues, risk assessments and method statements.

Role Criteria:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to complete a clean job
  • Good knowledge of all plastering backgrounds including damp issues
  • Good knowledge and experience with hacking off, Bonding, Multi finish. Dot and dab, ceilings, working safely around textured surface and damp proofing.
  • UK full driving licence
  • Provide own hand tools
  • Customer service experience

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
