Full Time, Permanent Up to £32,000.00, company van & fuel card.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced plasterer to join our team in Exeter, working on a variety of residential projects in collaboration with Exeter City Council. The role involves performing all aspects of plastering repairs, from minor fixes to complete house refurbishments, including external works such as sand and cement renders. The ideal candidate will ensure that customer experience is central to all activities, maintaining professionalism in communication, appearance, and adherence to Health & Safety standards. Responsibilities also include processing tasks electronically using a PDA, participating in call-out cover for emergency repairs, and obtaining customer feedback upon completion of works. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within a collaborative team environment committed to high standards and customer satisfaction.

Role Criteria:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to complete a clean job
  • Good knowledge of all plastering backgrounds including damp issues
  • Good knowledge and experience with hack off Bonding, Multi finish. Dot and dab,celings,artex and damp proofing.
  • UK full driving licence
  • Customer service experience

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
