Plasterer

Moxie are on the lookout for a reliable and customer-focused Plasterer to cover Cardiff and the surrounding areas for a Housing Association based in Cardiff.

As a Multi-skilled Plasterer, you will work as part of a fast-paced trades team, undertaking general maintenance repairs work across all occupied and unoccupied properties and communal facilities. This a permanent role, offering stable work in the local area for someone who's looking for stability.

What does a day look like?

• Provide a plastering and rendering service within the repairs team
• Assist other operatives by helping out other repair work where possible
• Using a PDA to track and update your jobs for the day
• Working on domestic properties and dealing directly with the tenants
• Provide an excellent customer experience in line with the housing associations values
• Pre-inspect sites to ensure you have the right materials for the job

Who are we looking for?

• A plasterer with experience of working on domestic properties
• Hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent)
• A multi skilled operative who can carry out other basic repair jobs
• Someone who has the IT skills required to operate a PDA/Tablet
• If you've worked for a local authority or housing association in the past, even better!
• Hold a valid UK drivers licence
• Willing and able to pass a DBS check
