Position: Plasterer at EQUANS

EQUANS is recruiting for a Plasterer based in Belfast. This is a permanent full-time role, working 40 hours per week. The package includes a salary of £28,000, a van, fuel card, and benefits.

General Overview

• Undertake duties as a Plasterer to the standards set out by the contract.
• Perform duties in accordance with statutory regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Assist the Foreman in producing quality work within the contract period, adhering to EQUANS SHEQ requirements.
• Complete all job sequences on PDA and ensure jobs are ready for invoicing.
• Use the Impact system efficiently.
• Adhere to client contract KPIs, target dates, and timeframes.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide high-quality service to NIHE tenants, in both occupied and void properties.
• Undertake all elements of 1st and 2nd fix plastering, and other work as required.
• Perform multiskilled duties when needed.
• Attend relevant training courses, including health and safety.
• Follow instructions and report any management system shortcomings or defects.
• Use protective equipment and tools according to training.
• Maintain company quality standards, including compliance with specifications and SOR codes.
• Manage van stock appropriately.
• Ensure work is of high quality and completed timely.
• Communicate additional work for invoicing.
• Meet job timeframes and target dates.
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
• Use safety equipment and wear appropriate clothing/uniform.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe.
• Responsibility for company van per policy.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and head office.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and others.
• Attend mandatory training.
• Coordinate and organize materials.
• Complete site documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist in training apprentices as needed.
• Perform other reasonable management requests.
• Ensure personal tools are fit for purpose and compliant with H&S requirements.

Candidate Profile

We seek a competent Plasterer with high-quality work standards, able to work independently or as part of a team. Membership of the Construction Skills Register is preferred.
