Job summary

Huws Gray Plant & Tool Hire in Coventry is seeking a Plant & Tool Hire Fitter to ensure equipment is safe, reliable and ready to roll for our customers’ projects. You will maintain and repair plant and tool kits, perform safety checks, and keep gear in top condition for every hire.

We offer on-the-job training and opportunities to gain recognised qualifications, including a Class 2 licence. A full UK driving licence is required to attend customer call-outs and support the team.

• Looking after equipment with routine maintenance and repairs, making sure everything's safe and ready to go
• Carrying out checks before and after hire, so our kit is always in top condition for the next customer
• Keeping the workshop clean, tidy, and safe - because a well-run space makes all the difference
• Staying organised by keeping maintenance records up to date and logging inspections properly
• Helping customers out in a friendly, professional way
• Chipping in with stock checks and lending a hand wherever the team needs you

As a Hire Fitter at Huws Gray Plant & Tool Hire, you’ll be the go-to person making sure our equipment is safe, reliable, and ready to roll. From maintaining and repairing plant and tool kit to keeping everything up to safety standards, you'll help keep our customers moving and projects on track.
