Due to a fantastic period of growth, we are now seeking to hire an additional plant technician, to join our established and dynamic team at Zotefoams. As a Plant Technician, your role will be crucial to maintaining unique industrial plastic foam manufacturing machinery, including steam boilers, thermal oil heaters, high-pressure compressors, extrusion lines, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly inspect the plant, identify and correct deficiencies, and report issues to management.
  • Provide detailed reports for all work completed within our computerised system.
  • Perform planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment safety and reliability.
  • Lead ongoing process improvements, developing new ideas and solutions.
  • Ensure Health & Safety risks are reported, and controlled, and safe practices are implemented and communicated.

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Level 3 or above).
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial/practical experience.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Understanding of SCADA/Automated Systems.
  • Experience in electrical fault finding, problem analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintenance experience, especially with CMMS.
