As a Plant Technician, your work is an integral part of maintaining our extensive and diverse fleet. Your timely and cost-effective repairs will keep Lancashire's front-line services moving efficiently, ensuring our communities remain safe and connected.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting inspections and maintenance on a wide range of plant equipment and/or trucks.
• Repairing and maintaining various types of plant machinery and trucks.
• Diagnosing faults using a range of up-to-date tools and equipment.
  
  

This role is mixed between onsite and workshop based, you will have use of a work van and tools will be provided for on site work.

What We're Looking For

• You'll hold a NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline and full UK category B driving licence. A qualification in heavy plant maintenance would support you in this role.
• Holding : a category C+E driving licence, a CPCS Trained Operated Card (Red or Blue Card) or have completed CPCS training covering forklift, dumpers and excavators will support you in this role.
• You'll have experience in repairing and maintaining plant equipment, including electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
• You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to mentor apprentices and junior team members in the team.
