About the Opportunity:
NRL is hiring a talented Plant Support Engineer / Electrical Engineer on behalf of a prestigious client based in Cumbria. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project while joining a company known for its exceptional reputation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Provide technical support to Reliability and Plant Engineers, focusing on electrical maintenance, reliability, and safety.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of plant reliability solutions and continuous improvement strategies.
  3. Oversee electrical systems maintenance and ensure compliance with safety management procedures.
  4. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective plant operation and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  5. Generate reports and maintain relevant documentation to communicate findings, solutions, and progress to key stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

  1. Electrical Engineering experience, preferably with prior experience on Nuclear regulated sites.
  2. Solid understanding of Electrical Maintenance, Reliability, and Safety standards.
  3. Familiarity with safety management procedures and plant configuration control.
  4. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating high standards of safety and operational excellence.
  6. Current SC/BPSS clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.
