Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential: FLT, Waste management experience, Leadership, Communication, Typing/keyboard skills.
• GCSE or equivalent required; Supervisory qualification desirable; COTC desirable.
• Proven ability to lead a site team and manage operations safely.

Responsibilities

• Manage all waste movements on site from receipt to treatment/transfer to maximise revenue.
• Ensure operations comply with site permits and consent; monitor emissions where applicable.
• Report breaches to regulator and management; maintain safety and quality standards.
• Maximise throughputs by proper waste mixing/blending; oversee maintenance per PPM schedule.
• Act as liaison in absence of Plant Manager; supervise on-site checks and repairs where trained.
• Maintain high housekeeping and wash 770l bins; manage vehicle turnaround; support other operations.
