Plant Assistant Supervisor

Based at Northfleet, Gravesend

Permanent - £36,300 + additional overtime

Job Overview

This key position within the factory involves raw material planning, manufacturing operations, and distribution of finished products. You will operate a state-of-the-art dry mortar factory and be responsible for daily planning of raw material deliveries and the delivery fleet. You will maintain direct contact with customers, ensuring market-leading service for product delivery and equipment servicing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate advanced sand drying and mortar mixing systems, becoming a skilled plant operator and team leader.
  • Manage production planning, raw material ordering, and finished product manufacturing to meet demand.
  • Lead production, supervise delivery and service teams, and uphold high service standards.
  • Ensure quality assurance testing aligns with certified procedures.
Essential Requirements
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good computer literacy and excellent communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Shifts: Monday to Friday, alternating weekly between morning (06:00 - 14:30) and afternoon (13:30 - 22:00) shifts.

Salary: Basic salary of £36,351 plus overtime opportunities.
