  • Full knowledge of Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work needed.

Overview

Plant Supervisor role within Readymix 'RMX' team on one of Europe’s largest current infrastructure projects at a site in the Banbury/Daventry area, at the border of Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. Focus on safety, operational standards, cost control, people management, delivering to customer needs and performance improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of toolbox talks
  • Manage all aspects of daily production
  • Take responsibility for your own safety and that of colleagues and business partners
  • Maintain site housekeeping to a high standard
  • Batch concrete to meet customer needs while meeting internal quality requirements

Due to role nature, we welcome candidates with limited experience as full training will be provided. Experience from a similar “heavy” industry would be advantageous but not essential.

Working pattern

The role is a days role with flexibility; we also operate nights and weekends to meet production needs – overtime available.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience in plant operations
  • Previous experience of a Readymix / Aggregates environment
  • Full knowledge of Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work
  • Working knowledge of production processes
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental policies
