We’re looking for a Plant Supervisor to join our team at Heidelberg Materials in Whatley. We will teach you everything you need to know about concrete production and plant operations.

Location: Whatley

Salary: £30,000pa

Hours: 45

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the concrete plant
  • Using computer systems to batch and dispatch concrete
  • Speaking with customers and coordinating deliveries
  • Supervising contractors and hauliers on-site
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental standards
  • Keeping the site clean, safe, and well-presented
  • Operate batching plant to company standards and maintain site presentation
  • Accurately batch concrete/mortar in accordance with procedures
  • Ensure the plant is stocked with approved materials at all times
  • Visually check stocks weekly and verify monthly
  • Carry out routine maintenance and inspections for defects and record actions
