Job summary

Infocus Resources is seeking an experienced Plant Supervisor to join our team at the Devonport Docks, Plymouth. You will oversee site logistics, coordinate plant movements and manage materials and equipment delivery on a busy site.

The role is full-time, site-based, with 45 hours per week Mon-Fri 07:30–17:00, offering 31 days holiday, pension, and travel/ lodge allowances for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate plant on site.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable and proactive approach to work.
• Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance.
• Passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and UK residence in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate logistics operations across site.
• Manage movement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment.
• Coordinate site logistics teams and ensure resources are available when required.
• Ensure safe movement of vehicles, plant and personnel around site.
• Liaise with site management, engineers, subcontractors and delivery teams.
• Monitor daily activities and ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety across logistics operations.
• Assist with planning and coordinating site deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records and report issues to site management.

Job description

Job Title: Plant Supervisor

Location: Plymouth

Salary: £25.00 per hour, 1.5 x rate after 39 hours in a week, 1.5 x rate first 4 hours on a saturday, 2 x rate rest of the weekend.

Hours: 10 hour Shifts

Contract: Full time

Duration: 5 years +

Subsistence:

• Lodge available at £53.69 per night for anyone living over 50 miles from site.
• Daily Travel allowance available for any operative not on lodge commuting more than 9 miles

About the Role

Infocus Resources is a dynamic organisation specialising in recruitment to various sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Supervisor to join the busy team at the Devonport Docks.

Must Have

• Ability to coordinate plant on site

This role is site based - Monday to Friday
