Astute's Power team in the UK is recruiting a Shift Team Leader for our Energy from Waste Power Station in Atherstone, Warwickshire. You will lead the shift operations, ensuring safe, efficient plant performance and strict adherence to HSE rules.

Ideal candidates will hold HV Senior Authorised Person status or be prepared to obtain it, with an engineering qualification (HNC or similar) and IOSH/NEBOSH. The role offers a starting salary around £58,000 plus bonus, overtime at 1.5x and other

Qualifications

Experience leading shift operations in heavy process engineering environments.
HV Senior Authorised Person status or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day leadership of the shift operations team for safe, efficient plant operation.
Ensure the plant operates within parameters and in compliance with HSE rules and company policies.
Manage site safety systems including permit to work and HV SAP duties.
Provide technical supervision and training for shift staff.
Administer safe systems of work and health & safety policies.
