Job summary

The University of Leeds invites applications for a Research Fellow in Plant Protein Quality and Digestibility on the PROFEED Horizon Europe project. You will work on the compositional, structural, techno-functional and nutritional characterisation of plant protein crops and feeds, applying in vitro digestion to determine digestibility and quality.

You will collaborate with senior researchers and project partners across crop production, processing, and feed formulation, contributing to in vivo

Qualifications

• PhD or near completion in a related discipline.
• Strong experience in plant protein characterisation.
• Experience with in vitro digestion and digestibility assessment.

Responsibilities

• Characterise plant protein crops, ingredients and feeds.
• Assess antinutritional factors and in vitro digestion models.
• Collaborate with PROFEED partners and University of Leeds teams.
• Contribute to data analysis and project validation trials.
