As a Plant Performance Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the technical assessment and optimisation of energy systems within a high-profile nuclear programme. This role involves performance modelling, cost analysis, and systems engineering to ensure the development of efficient, cost-effective, and compliant low-carbon energy solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Perform thermodynamic modelling and energy performance analysis of complex nuclear systems
  • Support Levelised Cost of Energy calculations and carbon accounting
  • Contribute to requirements management using tools like IBM DOORS
  • Engage in system-level design integration and energy optimisation
  • Collaborate with engineering, regulatory, and environmental teams to support decision-making across the lifecycle
