enfinium is seeking a Plant Operator to ensure safe, compliant and efficient operation of the Waste-to-Energy Plant. You will work as part of a shift team, operating from a Central Control Room and supporting continuous 24/7 operation with stand-by cover as needed.
The role requires NVQ Level 4/ONC or equivalent, experience in control room operations, and knowledge of combustion and power generation. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the role.
As a Plant Operator you will ensure that you are operating a safe, compliant (legal, regulatory and environmental aspects) and efficient operation of the Plant. As a key member of the shift team you will also be working with other operational staff and maintenance employees.
The successful candidate will act as the Plant AP, assisting the Plant SAP in all safety and operational duties, so that the facility can function as an integrated whole and run at maximum levels of safety, compliance, availability and efficiency.
The role is worked on a rotating shift pattern that includes day-work, weekends and public/bank holidays, and provides shift-rota cover, including stand-by cover as required, to ensure continuous 24/7 operation of the facility.
