About The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Operator to join our team. As a Terminal Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all equipment at our cementitious products terminal. This includes vessel unloading equipment, shovel loaders and other fixed and mobile plant. You will work closely with your shift supervisors to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the terminal. Working on a mixed roster of early Shift, late Shift with occasional nights and weekends, this role demands flexibility but allows a real work life balance.

Responsibilities
  • Controlling multiple weighbridges, loading cementitious products.
  • Driving shovel loaders in a flat cement store
  • Operating a ship unloader on the berth
  • Assembly and disassembly of a temporary pipeline.
  • Onsite maintenance and plant checks

  • Experience of operating and maintaining plant equipment
  • Experience of working in an industrial environment
  • Strong Health and Safety knowledge and ethos
