Job summary

A leading engineering recruiter is seeking a Plant Operator for an anaerobic digestion facility in Scotland. The ideal candidate will have experience in Anaerobic Digestion, SCADA/DCS knowledge, and be able to drive a Telehandler. Responsibilities include operating the plant, using SCADA controls, performing maintenance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to-day operations of the anaerobic digestion plant.
  • Use SCADA control systems to monitor the process.
  • Perform front-line maintenance, including greasing, unblocking pumps, and oil changes.
  • Feed fuel into the process using mobile plant such as a telehandler.
  • Respond to machine and systems failures.
  • Conduct general site housekeeping.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety protocols.
  • Participate in a call-out rota.

Permanent Plant Operator in an anaerobic digestion facility.

We're looking for someone with experience working in Anaerobic Digestion or a similar processing environment. The right candidate will be able to drive a Telehandler/front loader and have prior SCADA or DCS experience.

As the Plant Operator, you will be responsible for;

  • Carrying out day to day operations of the anaerobic digestion plant.
  • Use the SCADA control systems to monitor the process.
  • Carrying out front line maintenance, such as greasing, unblocking pumps and oil changes etc
  • Feeding fuel into the process using mobile plant such as a telehandler.
  • Responding to machine and systems failures
  • General site housekeeping, keeping it clean and tidy.
  • Ensuring adherence with health & safety.
  • Be part of a call out rota

Requirements;

  • Knowledge of SCADA/DCS/GMI systems
  • Telehandler experience
