Overview

Job Title: Plant Operator Landfill Site
Location: Forfar, DD8
Pay Rate: 13.78 per hour + overtime (time and a half)
Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon-Thurs, 07:00-16:45)
Contract: 3 months (potential to extend for the right candidate)

Responsibilities

• Operating 360 excavators to grade and level material on site
• Operating dumpers to transport soil, stone, and other materials
• Using a roller to compact stone roads during site development
• Carrying out daily pre-start checks on plant machinery, including oil, coolant, and AdBlue levels, topping up as required
• Supporting general landfill site operations

Requirements

• Experience operating excavators and dumpers (essential)
• Valid CPCS/NPORS tickets (essential)
• Experience on landfill, restoration, or construction sites (advantageous)
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team
