EMR-Uk is seeking a Plant Operative to operate plant machinery and maintain on-site equipment at our Glasgow site. No formal qualifications are required as training will be provided, and you will join a team focused on safe, efficient operations and continuous improvement.
In this role you will process and transport materials, assist colleagues and management, and contribute to our sustainable production goals as part of a global leader in metals recycling.

The purpose of this role is to operate the Plant machinery and equipment to maintain and improve performance.
Our plant operative role has a variety of responsibilities to keep you busy throughout the day. Whether operating plant, maintaining machinery, processing and transporting various materials on site, assisting your colleagues and manager.
We don’t believe in shutting doors on potential, so we don’t ask for qualifications or experience. We can teach you everything you need to know. What we can’t teach is:
If you have these qualities, you’re already well on your way to being an incredible Plant Operative. We’ll happily fill in the gaps by developing your knowledge, skills and expertise on the job. And we won’t stop training you once you’ve reached peak Operative status, because when you work for a global leader in sustainable materials, there is no limit to your career progression.
