Plant Operative

Contract: Permanent

Location: Coatbridge

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, shift pattern: 05:30 - 14:00 and 13:30 - 22:00, alternating weekly. Occasional Saturday mornings required, paid as overtime.

Basic Salary: £29,112.19+ for 40 hours, plus overtime pay for additional hours.

Key member of a two-person production team, working alongside the Assistant Supervisor to manage daily production tasks, vehicle loading and unloading, and material reception within a busy factory setting.

Responsibilities include operating counterbalanced forklift trucks and mobile plant to assist manufacturing operations, loading raw materials, conducting quality assurance testing on finished products in a laboratory environment, assisting in factory maintenance, and preparing equipment for dispatch to customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Forklift licence advantageous
• Shovel in-house licence advantageous but not essential, training provided
• Full driving licence essential
• Well-organized approach and a willingness to excel
