Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is recruiting for a Plant Operations Instructor / Tutor in Gloucestershire, a full-time on-site role delivering practical and theory-based plant operations training to apprentices, with a strong emphasis on safe working practices and industry readiness.

The successful candidate will come from a plant operations or construction background, hold relevant plant tickets, and receive full instructor training.

Qualifications

• Strong plant operations background and construction industry knowledge.
• Relevant plant tickets essential; excavator and telehandler tickets desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory-based Plant Operations training.
• Support plant apprentices and commercial plant training programmes.
• Use state-of-the-art facilities including a mock live site, plant simulators, and modern JCB machinery.
• Support learners with safe working practices, technical skills, and work-ready behaviours.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the Plant Operations provision.
• Work within a team of around 20 people, reporting into the Head of Education.
