Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Plant Operator or Construction professional to transition into training and education at Gloucestershire's first industry-led construction school. The role emphasizes practical and theory-based delivery while working with state-of-the-art plant equipment and a team of about 20 staff.

The ideal candidate has a strong Plant Operations or Construction background, with essential plant tickets; excavation and telehandler tickets are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in Plant Operations or Construction background
• Relevant plant tickets essential
• Familiarity with learner management systems (LMS) beneficial

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory-based Plant Operations training.
• Support plant apprentices and commercial plant training programmes.
• Use state-of-the-art facilities including a mock live site, plant simulators, and modern JCB machinery.
• Support learners with safe working practices, technical skills, and work-ready behaviours.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the Plant Operations provision.
• Work within a team of around 20 people, reporting into the Head of Education.
