Job summary

The Plant Operations Manager role is with a UK market leader in manufacturing, based at Scunthorpe. You will drive improvement across two sites, shaping culture, efficiency and productivity as part of a high-calibre team within a market-leading international group.

The position offers a base salary around £85,000 per year, Monday to Friday, with an employee benefits program and clear opportunities for training and career progression across the UK sites.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing manufacturing operations in automated or semi-automated environments.
• Experience using lean and CI tools to drive efficiencies (WCM, OEE, TPM, 5S, VSM).
• Experience managing budgets and capex.
• Ability to lead engineering-led change and operational excellence.
• Knowledge of engineering maintenance and plant improvements is a plus.

• Lead manufacturing operations across automated/semi-automated plants to improve culture, efficiency and productivity.
• Implement improvements with measurable results and manage leadership culture to drive change.
• Collaborate across UK sites to support succession planning and development.
