Elite Sourcing is recruiting an Operations Manager to lead operations at an energy-from-waste facility in Warwickshire. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will oversee day shifts, drive safe, efficient plant performance and regulatory compliance, and coordinate maintenance with engineering colleagues.

You will manage contractors, budgets and stakeholder relationships, and act as cover for the Plant Manager when required, ensuring continuous, compliant plant operation.

Formación

• Operational supervisory/management experience in power generation or heavy processing environment.
• Experience managing teams, contractors and budgets.
• Engineering HNC or higher and IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications preferred.

Elite Sourcing is recruiting an Operations Manager to lead operations at an energy from waste facility.

This Operations Manager opportunity would suit an established operational leader with experience managing operations within a large plant environment.

The position

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Operations Manager will:

• Lead shift teams and daytime operations staff.
• Maintain safe, efficient plant performance and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance, shutdowns and improvements with engineering colleagues.
• Manage contractors, departmental budgets and stakeholder relationships.
• Cover for the Plant Manager when required.

Your background

For this Operations Manager position, you’ll need operational supervisory or management experience within power generation or a comparable heavy process setting, alongside experience managing teams, contractors and budgets.

Relevant sectors include energy from waste, biomass, conventional power, paper manufacturing, refining and petrochemicals.

An engineering HNC or higher and IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications are preferred. HV Senior Authorised Person experience would be an advantage.

The package

The Operations Manager package includes a basic salary of approximately £65,000, bonus and additional benefits.
