Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with transferable skills from related disciplines such as mechanics, forklift engineering, or general engineering to work on travel hoists, cranes, tractors, and forklifts. A full UK driving licence is essential. The role involves varied tasks across different locations in the South.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Plant repairs and servicing
  2. Identifying potential issues

We welcome enthusiastic candidates with a flexible work ethic. While knowledge of the following is desirable, training will be provided where needed, and we support your growth and development:

  • Experience with Risk Assessments and Safe Operating Procedures in outdoor environments
  • Practical experience with engines, hydraulic/pressure systems, and mechanical systems
  • Use of hand-held power tools, including grinders (advantageous but not essential)

The role involves outdoor work in all weather conditions, with occasional weekend work and travel across the south coast.
